Samsung launched four AKG headphones in India, the Y100, Y500, N200 and N700NC M2. AKG N200 is an in-ear earphone that is meant for people with an active lifestyle, who would want to listen to music while jogging or gymming. The N200 comes with tangle-free fabric cable. It features Apt-x technology and AAC codec support. The N200 can last up to 8 hours according to Samsung. It also comes with a fast-charging feature that gives one full hour of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging.
The second in the N-series is the AKG N700NC M2. This is the flagship headphone with Adaptive Noise Cancelling. The AKG headphones app allows the user to easily control the equalizer and noise cancelation frequency settings via smartphone. The battery of AKF N700NC M2 lasts for 23 hours. The headphone comes with an airline adapter, carrying case and tangle-free fabric cloth with one-button remote.
In the Y-series are the Y500 and Y100. The Y500 has 33 hours of playtime, supports multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously and comes in 5 colour options. It also features play/pause automation that pauses the music automatically when taking the headphones off and resumes when the headphones are put back on.
The AKG Y100 is a neck-band type earphone that is light and durable as per Samsung. Both AKG Y500 and Y100 come with Ambient Aware technology that allows users to let in surrounding ambient sound by activating the Ambient Aware Mode so that they don’t miss any important announcements at the airport or that interesting conversation at home.
All these headphones and earphones are available through Samsung E-store, exclusive outlets and retailers. They will also be available at leading online portals shortly. The AKG Y100 is priced at Rs. 6,699, AKG N200 and AKG Y500 priced at Rs. 9,999 each and AKG N700NC M2 at Rs. 26,999.
