Samsung unveiled the ‘Enterprise Edition’ of its Galaxy devices. Catering to businesses and large organisations who require a fleet of mobile phones for their employees, the new Galaxy Enterprise Edition is currently launched in the UK. The Enterprise Edition devices come with multiple advantages for businesses. For instance, the new Galaxy Enterprise Edition lets you configure, update, deploy and run mobile technology across organisations.
Safeguarding the data and company information on the phone. Galaxy Enterprise Edition smartphones come with Samsung Knox and will get 4 years of firmware updates, either monthly or quarterly. Ensuring the organisation of their mobile devices are up to date with the latest Android and Samsung security patches. They also feature Knox Configure that provides control over settings, restrictions, apps and other mobile content, allowing businesses to configure devices remotely.
IT team can update the mobile firmware and security of Enterprise Edition devices remotely over-the-air across the entire Samsung devices they own. Samsung calls this Enterprise Firmware-over-the-air (E-FOTA). Besides this, Samsung provides 3 years of enhanced support to the Enterprise Edition devices, including next business day response.
The Galaxy Enterprise Edition will be available on the Note10, S10, S10e, A50, A40 and XCover 4s variants first, via https://www.samsung.com/uk/business/smartphones/all-smartphones/ and selected partners.
