Samsung’s KNOX service may not have got the expected reception, according to a detailed report by Wall Street Journal. Apparently, Samsung is facing few hurdles to sell its service to businesses due to it being ridden with bugs and unwanted delays.
Samsung officially announced KNOX at MWC in February this year but the service was pre-loaded only after the launch of Galaxy Note 3.
One of the major reasons attributed to a lukewarm response is Samsung’s limited experience in service for businesses.
“Samsung never really had a service business. It’s pretty much a device-oriented business,” said one of WSJ’s source.
However, all said and done, Samsung is optimistic of KNOX and expects “large scale success in 2014.”
