Samsung Jitterbug J

GreatCall lifted the veil from the next Jitterbug phone, called Jitterbug J. The no-frills phone is now slimmer and lighter than its predecessor and features large backlit buttons, Blueooth support for wireless headsets, customized ringtones, call waiting and 30 percent more battery life.

Jitterbug J will allow users to sync calendar entries from their online account with MyCalendar, SimpleText to send preset short messages and Complete Care that gives Roadside assistance, immediate handset replacement and LiveNurse for an unlimited access to a registered nurse and access to health information library for $9/month.

The phone retails for $147 and comes with a free car charger.

My mom is also using a simple phone, but the one she’s using is the Just5 Easyphone. I also recommend the use of this phone as this is perfect for non-techno savvy individuals as well as for those with vision and hearing impairment. My mom is benefiting a lot from the features of this phone. What she loves most here is its PERS features and its candybar design. On my part, I love its great affordability. I even think that the features of this phone are too great for its price.
