Samsung to ship 10m Wave phones, have at least 1000 apps in 2010

Samsung Wave S8500

The target seems a bit high but Samsung is confident of shifting 10m units of its first bada phone in the first 8 months of its launch. Wave (S8500) will be available in 50 countries by May and being the second largest mobile vendor in the world, Samsung reckons its bada phone can sell in huge volumes.

Samsung also set some goals for its bada platform for this year. They’re planning to release the public SDK by March and expects to add about 1000 bada apps by end of this year.
