It may look like a normal robot vacuum cleaner but Samsung has added one important functionality to it – it doubles up as a surveillance camera. The VC-PL62W is an upgrade to Tango that was released in South Korea last year and in addition to keep the house clean, it helps to monitor the house.
Samsung says CCTV cameras can monitor limited spaces but its latest offering can monitor any part of the place that can be seen in real-time on a PC or a smartphone.
Samsung’s video security robot vacuum cleaner can bought in South Korea for 799,000 won ($684).
