Microsoft will be unveiling Windows Phone 7 devices today but Samsung has already made its first phone based on the new OS official. As rumored, the phone is known as Omnia 7 (GT-I8700).
Omnia 7 has an impressive spec sheet but interestingly, it is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm’s QSD8250 processor instead of Samsung’s Hummingbird. Furthermore, the phone has HSPA, 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording, 8GB internal memory, FM Radio with RDS, A-GPS and 1500mAh battery.
The phone also features Metro UI and Windows Phone Hubs that helps to organize information and tasks.
UPDATE: Omnia 7 will be released in Europe first on October 21.
