South Korea is generally Samsung’s preferred Asian market to launch a new product but it seems Indonesia got lucky with the Galaxy Tab 10.1. In addition to being the first Asian country, the tablet got a very good response, which sold out in just 7 hours of its launch.
Samsung sold 1,200 units on day one that was being sold in Pacific Place Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia.
With original Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung now holds a 65 percent tablet market share in this Asian market.
