German District Court has ruled in favor of Apple by granting a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1. The court believes the Galaxy Tab 10.1 did infringe patents related to Apple’s iPad and has ordered to stop sales of the 10.1-inch tablet in the European union except Netherlands. Additionally, Samsung will have to pay fines up to 250,000 euros (US$350,000) for each violation or even face imprisonment of Samsung management in case of continued infringements.
Needless to say, this is definitely huge than stopping the launch in Australia as Europe is the biggest market for Samsung.
