Late last week, Samsung announced to file a counterclaim against Apple in Australia. The countersuit claims that Apple products like iPhone 3G / 3GS / 4 and iPad 2 are infringing Samsung’s 7 wireless-related patents held in Australia.
Furthermore, Samsung’s statement also says that the claim putforth by Apple against Galaxy Tab 10.1 should be revoked as they are invalid.
As a result of this, Samsung had to delay the Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch in Australia.
