Samsung Series 5 Ivy Bridge

In addition to the Series 7, Samsung will also bump the Series 5 notebooks to Intel’s 3rd generation Core processors. Samsung’s Series 5 Ultrabook (530U3C A02DE) will come with Intel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB RAM and 500GB HDD along with 24GB SSD. It will be available in Germany from early June from 1099 euros.

Another addition to the Series 5 range is the 17.3-inch laptop (550P7C). This also comes with Intel’s Core i7 processor and will feature a 220nit display, up to 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, JBL speakers and Nvidia GeForce GT650M GPU. It will be available by end of May at a starting price of 999 euros in Germany.
