Samsung Galaxy S III for USA

UPDATE: News related to US-bound Galaxy S III is coming thick and fast. T-Mobile has confirmed June 21 as the launch date. Verizon Wireless’ variant is priced at $200 and can be pre-ordered from June 6.

Samsung has announced its flagship Galaxy S III device for the American market. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the exact availability but will release the device on five carriers – AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular sometime in June with a starting price of $199.

Interestingly, unlike the previous Galaxy S devices, Samsung has announced the Galaxy S III with the same international design with few changes under the hood like a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and 2GB RAM.

As for the other features, it comes with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280×720), Android 4.0 OS, 4G LTE or HSPA 42+ support, 8MP main camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microSD card slot, 16GB or 32GB internal memory, 2100mAh battery and software optimizations like S Voice, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Direct Call, Pop up Play, S Beam, Best Shot, Burst Shot and more.
