Apple wants to file preliminary injunction request against Galaxy S III in US

Apple has filed a new motion asking the court to add Galaxy S III in the motion for preliminary injunction filed against the Galaxy Nexus. Apple says they bought the Galaxy S III on May 29 in UK and came to the conclusion that the phone infringes on two Apple patents that are asserted against the Galaxy Nexus as well.

Apple believes unlike Galaxy Nexus, the launch of Galaxy S III could “irreparably harm Apple” due to the huge number of pre-sales and thus a preliminary injunction is befitting.

The scheduled hearing will take place on June 7 i.e. today.
