If you recollect, in July Samsung Display accused LG Display to have facilitated in the OLED technology leak. Now Samsung Display has filed an injunction request against the LG subsidiary, according to a report on Yonhap News.
Samsung submitted documents relating to the OLED technology in the Seoul Central District Court and demands 1 billion won from LG Display for the use of the each case submitted by Samsung Display.
Although LG didn’t offer to comment, a Samsung official accused LG Display to “consistently acquire our OLED technologies and other business secrets by inducing our researchers to transfer.”
