Samsung has debunked the report from last night that claimed to terminate their LCD supply contract with Apple. Samsung’s spokesperson confirmed to CNET that the deal is still on and will supply panels to the Cupertino giant for their iPhone and iPad devices.
Samsung Display has never tried to cut the supply for LCD panels to Apple.
The report from Korea Times claimed Samsung Display will stop supplying LCD panels to Apple in 2013 due to disagreement on the pricing and the ongoing tussle in the courtroom.
