Samsung ongoing tussle with Apple has drawn some attention from the US Department of Justice (DOJ) as the department has started investigating about any antitrust law violations by the Korean company. Although the department hasn’t confirmed or denied, Wall Street Journal’s source claims the DOJ has been probing for few months.

The investigation has come to light via a filing by Apple to the US International Trade Commission after Apple complained about Samsung’s non-compliance to license the essential wireless patents on FRAND terms.

Samsung is also facing a similar investigation by the European Commission.
