It’s no secret that Samsung was working on a chip utilizing ARM’s big.LITTLE technology but the first details regarding the chip is expected in February at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC).
The only details confirmed till now are that the 28nm processor will be an 8-core one with the first quad Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and the second quad Cortex-A7 cores are clocked at 1.2GHz.
The presentation is slated on February 19, which is a week before Mobile World Congress. Could this chip be used in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S IV?
