Samsung announces Galaxy Grand for South Korea, comes with 1.4GHz quad-core CPU

Galaxy Grand for South Korea

Samsung today announced the Galaxy Grand in South Korea and unlike the international version that is making in roads in different countries, the South Korean Galaxy Grand is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU. We’re not sure why Samsung went with a quad-core chip opposed to the dual-core one found in the international variant but the faster processor is certainly good news for consumers.

Galaxy Grand supports VoLTE, Android 4.1 OS and has a 5-inch display with WVGA (800×480) resolution. You’d also find an 8MP and 2MP cameras, NFC with S Beam, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, 8GB internal memory with microSD card slot up to 64GB, T-DMB, 2100mAh battery, new TouchWiz UI, Multi-Window and lots more.
