Samsung’s Smart Evolution Kit (SEK-1000) is now available in its domestic market. The Smart Evolution Kit is currently supported by select 2012 Smart TVs and allows customers to enjoy all the features of the 2013 Smart TVs at a small cost. The kit that goes at the back of the TV will upgrade the CPU to quad-core, improved GPU and RAM and will also bring software enhancements like the new 2013 Smart Hub interface along with improved gestures for motion control.
The retail price of the Evolution Kit is 600,000 won but ES8000 and ES7000 customers can avail a 50 percent discount.
