It seems Intel has another deal lined up with Samsung, in addition to the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. Computer World reports that Samsung TVs expected by the end of this year will be able to stream content directly from Intel powered computers.

Intel’s wireless display tech will be integrated into Samsung TVs that will allow streaming of PC content wirelessly. The feature is known as Wireless Display (WiDi) and supports Intel’s Core range of processors.

Current breed of Samsung TVs support content streaming via DLNA.

Do you mean your Samsung Smart TV supports Widi already? If yes, could you please share the exact steps you took to make this work. I have been trying endlessly to get this to work but havent been. Will be extremely grateful to you if you can elaborate on how you did it?

Its such a shame that none of the samsung TV supports widi. i have 7000 series 40inch TV. i thought it has widi. i was really disappointed that it doesnt have widi. for that i need spend some more bucks. they screen mirroring vch has no use. only their products will support. then wat is the difference between apple and samsung. LG supports widi. even their low end.
