Samsung at the SSD Global Summit in South Korea today announced their new SSD dubbed as 840 EVO. The 840 EVO SSD uses 10nm-class 128Gb NAND and boasts a storage of up to 1TB.

As for the highest capacity available – 1TB, the sequential read/write speed is 540/520MB per second with IOPS reaching 98,000 (read) and 90,000 (write) respectively.
