Samsung’s first digital camera powered by Android OS is selling for just Rs. 16,999 (~$265) on Amazon India. We’ve seen camera going for around Rs. 20,000 but this is perhaps the cheapest you can find the Galaxy Camera (EK-GC100) for. The camera on Amazon is sold by Croma Retail (fulfilled by Amazon) and interestingly, the camera on Croma’s official website is expensive than what they’re offering on Amazon.
The Galaxy Camera may not be the best camera when it comes to photography but it does offer 21X optical zoom, 3G connectivity and Android Jelly Bean OS. The camera is also equipped with a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch LCD, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and more.
Thanks, Nilay!
