Galaxy Star enabled smartphone experience to the masses and they’re trying to improve it further with the Galaxy Star Pro. The phone hasn’t been announced by Samsung but India-based Homeshop18 along with offline retail stores have started selling the device.
Priced at Rs. 6,989, the Galaxy Star Pro is slightly expensive than the original Galaxy Star but brings in better hardware like a 4-inch WVGA display and a 1500mAh battery. The phone runs Android 4.1 OS and features dual-SIM connectivity, 1GHz processor Cortex-A5 processor, 2MP camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot.
Interestingly, Samsung has still not integrated 3G and GPS.
