Galaxy S4 (I9500) Review

Samsung is aware of the swollen battery issue that has plagued number of Galaxy S4 users. According to a statement released to Trusted Reviews, Samsung notes that the issue has “affected a limited number of customers” and will offer a free battery replacement.

Affected customers are requested to visit Samsung’s nearest service centre to receive the replacement.

Samsung hasn’t shed any more details including which countries will be covered under the replacement program nor any webpage stating the same. Our request to Samsung has also gone unanswered.

Last week, German blog, Mobiflip’s source working with a German carrier claimed almost 30 percent of users with the Galaxy S4 were affected.

There’s a slim chance for you getting a replacement in another country.
