One of the things to look forward from Samsung in the coming years is the integration of flexible display in their products. At the Samsung Analyst Day in South Korea, Samsung Display’s President and CEO, Dr. Kinam Kim spoke about Samsung Display’s competency as well as their future strategy including the flexible displays.
We have an idea on how Samsung is looking to progress before developing foldable displays but the company feels the use of flexible displays will give rise to the wearable gadgets and going by the slide, Samsung could integrate them with variety of sensors to transform them in fitness and healthcare devices.
Samsung is also looking to develop stretchable flexible panels that could be used in the fashion industry.
