Samsung America just announced a list of devices that will receive the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update. Although actual software update will happen depending on the carrier and product, Samsung claims the KitKat update will start from today and will continue through the coming months.

Samsung says the KitKat update will bring a more intuitive user interface, enhanced messaging capabilities, location menu and upgraded Google Mobile Service apps.

The list includes:

Galaxy Note 3
Galaxy S4
Galaxy S4 mini
Galaxy S4 Active
Galaxy S4 zoom
Galaxy Note II
Galaxy Mega
Galaxy S III
Galaxy S III mini
Galaxy Light
Galaxy Note II
Galaxy Note 8.0
Galaxy Note 10.1
Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition
Galaxy Tab 3

This list is restricted to the US market but it’s a good indicator as to which devices internationally has a chance to get the KitKat update.
