Samsung bags two EPA awards for sustainability

Samsung has confirmed that they’ve received two awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for their continued effort to use materials for cleaner environment and sustainability.

Samsung says they’re the first brand to receive a Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) Champion Award, Product Category for the Galaxy S6 due to its 99.9 percent recyclability and use of 100 percent recycled packaging. Samsung collected over 114m pounds of e-waste in the United States in 2014.
