A new report emerging out of South Korea claims Samsung will launch 52 smartphone models next year. According to TheElec who has gleaned Samsung’s smartphone shipment plan, these 52 models will constitute Samsung’s target shipment of 334 million units with about 20% taken over by flagship smartphones. Flagship devices include the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy S22 series comprising of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Allegedly, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold has a shipment target of 2.9 million units, 6.9 million units of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and 4 million units (Galaxy S22), 8 million units (Galaxy S22 Plus) and 11 million units (Galaxy S22 Ultra).
The report further claims that the Galaxy A series is where most of the shipments will happen. The Galaxy A53, Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A13 have a target shipment of 28 million units, 23 million units and 21 million units respectively. Samsung will also launch 5G variants of the Galaxy A73 and the Galaxy A53 and a few models from the M-series.
