Samsung Galaxy S III goes on sale today in 28 countries

Despite some delay, Samsung has confirmed that its flagship Android device will go on sale today. Galaxy S III is Samsung’s biggest ever launch and will be available from today in 28 countries including United Kingdom, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia and other countries from Europe and Middle East and Africa.

Samsung plans to launch the device in 145 countries on 296 operators by July. In comparison, Galaxy S launched in 112 countries on 175 carriers and Galaxy S II was made available in 135 countries across 210 operators.

Samsung will also start its Galaxy S III World Tour from May 31 in nine different cities across the world.

    The screens are priceless! AMOLED Dominates! Image quality is critical… The rest of the industry will have to upgrade if they want to play in Sammy’s sand box.. AMOLED will become the Universal Screen Type for all Displays!
